What a good-looking bunch! Below are the current members of the Magdalena Astronomical Society. We don't believe any of these pictures are from wanted posters, but you never can be too sure. If you would like to join the club, or even just say 'hi', there is a link at the bottom of the page that will take you to an information form to fill out.

MAS is a member of the Astronomical League (www.astroleague.org)! As such all persons joining the Magdalena Astronomical Society must also become members of the the league, or else the club loses nice perks like good event insurance which can cover you and your equipment at club functions. If you join the club your membership in the league will be automatic. If you have religious or philosophical differences of opinion with the Astronomical League then don't join.

Because there are only a few people to take care of the paperwork for the club it has been decided to just make the yearly dues due in June of each year. If you join in May you'll have to pay in May, maybe, and then pay again in June, so the obvious choice is to just resist the urge to join until June. We'll still let you hang out with us if you are not a member. You just won't be an official member until you sign up.

Dues are $35 per year. Again that includes membership in the Astronomical League. A separate registration for each person will be needed so that info can be passed on to the league. You can sign up for more than one year at a time. For your troubles you will receive a "free" magazine, The Reflector, published quarterly by the league, which is actually kinda nice.

To join/renew just click here.
